Super-Duper Deals!

My first *Used-Curriculum Sale* was quite productive! Spelling Power was in bad shape, but I wasn't sure we were going to use it this year anyway and for a buck....A SINGLE BUCK. One dinky little buck? That's stealing.

Saxon Math 7/6 was on my list.....check

Algebra 1/2 was on my list.....check

I think I paid less than $30.00 for both, including the test books.
Apologia -Exploring Creation with General Science was on my list and some of the others were on my list as well. I was just plain giddy after these finds. I still have a few more things to gather up, but I am nearly done. I am so grateful for all the help from those who have gone before me. It has made this process exciting and not at all daunting or overwhelming.

The desk was my first cheesy homeschool purchase. Veteran homeschoolers....laugh if
you must.

I couldn't help myself.

Things have been a bit topsy-turvy around this mercy-filled house and so I haven't posted much. There is a whole heapin' bunch of stuff to write about, but just not quite yet. The move isn't going as expected, but that is totally O.K.

Witnessing God's beautiful provision is an awesome thing.

I love that desk! Where did you find it? Are you getting the books online, or what? Awesome deals!

I'm praying for y'all and hope you can get to summer soon!

We will miss our Voiles visit this summer! It just won't be the same!

If we ever homeschool (our son is only one) I will DEFINITELY want to buy a desk like that! What's cheesy about it? :) It's darling!

Great deals! I love the desk! We had an official *school room* and desks kinda like that when we began...then the girls out grew the desks in about 2 years time and the school room became a bedroom as our family grew! I loved my school room! Now they do most of their schooling in their rooms where their desk and computer are (not internet computer...just for typing and watching DVDs). I do *school* with Evie usually at the playroom game table or the kitchen table.

The desk is not cheesy...I love it!

You are an inspiration with your excitement and joy!

You can see a picture of the desks for my kids on my blog. I prefer to think of them as quaint. Emily's is just like yours only smaller and pink! My kids love their desks and I hope yours do too.

Great finds on the books. Ebay is another good place for used curriculum when your life settles down a bit!
