Time for a Benjamin Montage

Emotional Overload!

Apart from politics, our family is going through a trying time. It is hard to trust around this bend when I cannot see the other side. A new season has begun and my post on Monday was actually less about the election and more about our life and this new season that God has ordained.

Funny how things get woven together. God is good.

The other day, I asked Emma how she would describe for someone who did not have siblings, what is was like to have a baby brother.

Her eyes filled up, and she said,

"Everyday ... he just ... gives us joy".

Thank you God for being the source of everlasting joy despite our trials and circumstances. Thank you for the temporal joy that is here on this earth to be a soothing balm while we wait on you.

Without further ado ... here's a little joy who is crawling, pulling up, and has cut his first tooth:

I never comment on your blog. I don't know why because you leave some of the most incredible comments on my blog. Thank you for taking the time to read and leave comments. I wish I could write my thoughts like you. WOW!

Watching you have your 4th through the blog makes me wonder if I am done.

How can our hearts be troubled when we can see such joy on his adorable face.
Praying that whatever trial you are going through/helping another cross through you will feel comfort and peace. That you can say "it is well with my soul".
That song has been on my mind all day. May peace like a river attend to your weary soul tonight.
You are such a woman of God.

Wow, time goes by so fast. He sure is cute!

I totally understand how your daughter feels. We all still feel like that about Ethan (who is the youngest by seven years)...he makes us happy all the time. (He is really easy.) I can't imagine life without him.
