Happy Birthday Samuel
"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD."

How could it be possible that five whole years have passed since we celebrated your birth? Each year when my children grow older I stand in awe of how quickly the days are slipping by. What an incredible blessing to have been trusted with a son. You embody all things "boy" and I will never cease to be amazed by your superpowers, especially the one that includes your hugs and kisses and renders me helpless.
I am grateful to be your mother.
Beyond grateful.
Happy 5th Birthday Spider/Bat/Super/Boy. I love you.

Such a beautiful kid! Happy Birthday Samuel! It goes by so fast, doesn't it???
I am being totally honest when I say that, other than my own baby (of course), he was hands down the cutest newborn I have ever seen.
And he is still an adorable boy. And very happy looking.
Happy Birthday!
Oh, the cuteness!
What a precious boy! I know he has brought great blessing upon blessing to your family!
Happy Birthday!
When he grows out of this spider/bat/super/boy phase, it will be a sad day. He is so cute.
Thank you for sharing your day with us, we had a great time.

Hey Sam, I'm sorry I missed your party...sounds like it was a lot of fun. I've been praying for you since before you were born, I love you as if you were mine, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LA LA
Kim, I was reading a column in the paper last year about children's birthdays. The columnist wrote that the days are so long, but the years so short... Nothing is as fast as the speed of life. So true. I'm sorry I missed the big day, I feel like the Grandmother, (or favorite Aunt :) ) who lives on the other side of the world. Sure do miss ya'll.
