37

I have tried to think of something poignant to say ... but I can't.

I did manage to remind my children on 2 or 27 occasions yesterday that I deserved to be treated with kindness ... because ... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

Those kind of reminders are usually pointless, by the way.

What does come to mind, no matter how hard I shut my eyes or shake my head ...

37 was my mother's last birthday.

How could I be that old?

And ...

How could she be so young?

Hope your birthday was wondering. The flower cake is delightful.
I always use the it's my birthday card too, just wish it could happen more often than once a year. Not the aging part of birthdays just the special part and of course the buttercream frosting too!
Happy Happy Birthday.
